Ville Bague

Initially in 1847 when the post office opened, the deputy Postmaster was Mr J. Baird, overseer of convicts. In 1847 the office was sometimes listed as Pamlpemousses South. In 1869 situated at the Police Station. On 1 December 1875 the Post Office was moved to the Police Station at Plaine St Cloud. In 1877 a third class office. In 1915 transferred to Brisee Verdiere and closed. In 1939 there was a letter box with a collection every two days.
