Vacoas
Opened at the railway station 1868 with Mr.
I.E. Grogan the stationmaster acting as district Postmaster. In 1877 a second class office. In 1915 the centralization of the Vacoas Post Office was effected in the following way, that the Central Post Office being at Vacoas Railway Station so the Office at Phoenix was then a Branch Office. The post office was still opened 1968.
