Souillac
Before 1st of July 1847 it was only a receiving
house. Initially the Postmaster was Mr. J. B. Faugue, shopkeeper. In 1862 the letter box was opened from 7a.m. to 5.30p.m. On 23 August 1877 the post office moved to the railway station. It was then a first class office. A money order office by 1881. Handled Express Delivery by 1907. The post office was still opened 1968.
