Roche Bois

Opened at the railway station (North Line) 1868. The Post office was closed between 20th of May 1919 and 2416th of July 1922 owing to the influenza epidemic. The station master acted as Postmaster for 1932. The office closed 1955 due to the murder of the Postal Agent. Reduced from a Cash Account Agency to a non Account Agency on  12 November 1956. The postal agency moved in 1961 to the corner of Abattoir and Shaud Streets. The office was still opened 1968.
